fsbo-vt Terms of Use

§ 1 Definitions

1. "Advertiser" shall mean any user who creates an advertisement on this site, whether purchased and thereby published for public viewing or otherwise.
2. "FSBO-VT" shall mean the company doing business under such name and its owner, heirs and assigns.

§ 2 Agreement to These Terms of Use

All users of this site must fully comply with these terms of use. Any user who cannot or will not comply to these terms is forbidden from accessing any content of This Site in any manner. These terms are subject to change without notice. Users of this site agree to periodically review the Terms of Use for changes. By continuing to use this site you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of use.

§ 3 Authorized Users

Use of this site is restricted to real estate owners intending to procure advertising services for said real estate, individuals considering buying properties listed on this site, and real estate professionals who are acting as buyers agents for individuals considering purchasing properties listed on this site. All other users is expressly forbidden.

§ 4 Compliance with The Fair Housing Act

Advertisements on this site are subject to The Fair Housing Act (The Act) and may not contain any statement that indicates any preference, limitation, or discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin, or an intention to make any such preference, limitation, or discrimination. Although FSBO-VT assumes no responsibility for the legal compliance of any advertisement posted on this site nor will FSBO-VT regularly review advertisement content for such compliance, any non-compliant advertisements will be removed immediately when detected. Any advertiser who creates content that is in violation of The Act may be subject to prosecution.

§ 5 Accuracy of Advertisement Content

FSBO-VT assumes no responsibility for any errors, omissions, or other inaccuracies in the content of any advertisement posted on this site nor does it make any attempt to detect or correct such errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. All content of each advertisement is the sole responsibility of the Advertiser and is presented on this site as is. It is the sole responsibility of the user to maintain both the content and the status of their listing.

FSBO-VT makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy of information provided by sellers in their advertisements.

§ 6 Representation

FSBO-VT provides only advertising and informational services and in no way represents the Advertiser, the property being presented for sale, or the buyer.

§ 7 Removal or Refusal of Advertisement

FSBO-VT reserves the right to remove or refuse any advertisement at its sole discretion with or without refund.

§ 8 Copyright

All copyright rights are reserved with the following exceptions:

1. A resonable number of printed copies of a listing may be made by individuals considering the purchase of the listed property.
2. Advertisers may make any number of printed copies of their own advertisement.
3. Local electronic copies may be made (cached) as required by the normal operation of the user's web browser.

§ 9 Copyright of uploaded images

By uploading images to this site, the Advertiser asserts that he or she owns the rights to that image and grants unlimited rights to fsbo-vt for use of that image.

§ 10 Malicious Use

Any activity by a user with the intent of circumventing the security systems of this site or accessing or altering files, directories, or databases not available through the user interface is strictly forbidden. Malicious use will be prosecuted.

§ 11 Harvesting of Contact Information

Harvesting of members' contact information from this site either manually or via an automated process for the purpose of solicitation is strictly prohibited.

§ 12 Changes to these terms

These terms of use are subject to change without notice.
